“Chapel Perilous” is a moniker sometimes used to describe a spiritual journey or awakening. Similar in nature to Holy Grail quests of Arthurian legend, the journey requires one to enter an exceedingly dangerous or challenging arena, where they are put to many tests that determine their courage, purity of heart, and worthiness.
